Fabienne Maunoury

Welcome to my creative world where the intensity of color and the graphic lines of plants coexist! My name is Fabienne Maunoury, I was born in 1973 in Paris and I grew up in the Paris region, as well as in Burgundy and Brittany. I have always lived close to nature and have been steeped in environmental education.

A visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts, I have always loved painting and photography. Today, I create with nature as my favorite subject, with plants as my motif and preferred creative material. With the Art & Nature project, I compose my paintings from natural elements, mainly plants, and acrylic paint. I present here cyanotype paintings, which are cyanotypes mounted on canvas combined with paint, in an intense dark blue. The cyanotype technique allows me to capture the delicacy of plants thanks to the sun and to rediscover the magic of film photography, where the image appears in a developing bath. Passionate about nature and inspired by the beauty and harmony of the plant world, I wish to make it visible through my creations and raise public awareness of the importance of acting for the protection of the environment.
