Wall mural sculpture in paper strips, an invitation to caress the eye

Biography

After artistic and literary studies, and a long period of photography, Claire Ribeyron tries her hand at paper sculpture and succeeds. She constrains the thin sheets of about two millimeters to create abstract or figurative panels. A lover of maps, she interprets several nearby and distant urban networks, but she also excels at rendering the meanders of the Mississippi, or fantasized vegetation. With finesse and lightness, her works also play with the chosen background and their cast shadow, and the sheets seem to vibrate when the eye moves.
A sensitive, sensual, and sensory work.
