Biography
Laurence Capelli is interested in the world in her own way. By letting her imagination run wild, by giving free rein to her fantasies to offer a sparkling universe full of the spice of life! In a few strokes, she paints the silhouettes of her characters who appear spontaneously. The framing and sometimes the accumulation allow her to restore the singularity of the atmospheres, in the style of the feverish world of Roland Garros which fascinates her. The court
central stands out as a virgin land, in the center of an ocean
multicolored umbrellas that shelter the world's elite. On other
compositions, these are café terraces, fashion, the beach
with as a constant, the obsession of a motley crowd in its
hours of relaxation.
Laurence Capelli is having fun, and her good humor leaves no one unmoved. Especially since she has several strings to her art. Studies at the Beaux-Arts, which taught her technique, an innate sense of composition, and an unbridled imagination. The result: a sunny work that illuminates the atmosphere with her fanciful ramblings. In short, a true moment of happiness.
