Biography
Contemporary animal sculptor.
Lionel Wodecki, born in 1970 in Somain, has always been a draftsman, a designer by trade, and now an animal artist since 2023.
Simplicity has always been the driving force behind his work as a designer, but the study of living things has revealed a new dimension in him: the art of suspended movement and capturing the moment.
His sculptures exude a serene beauty mixed with paradox, between strength and fragility, animal inspiration and human resonance, as if the animals he staged were endowed with psychology.
