It was in 2020, after a meditative art class, that I decided, after a twenty-year career in healthcare, to completely switch to art.
My response to the words 'non-essential staff' was to decide to go in search of my own essence, my essence of the sky. Life is nothing but a cycle and an eternal renewal until one finds one's path.

The first collection, which I named 'The Language of the Soul', made me realise as I worked on my art that I was facing my introspection and what emerged was my inner journey. The gold dust represents the light that I never lose sight of in order to move forward in life and thus surpass myself. My choice to work in the abstract represents total freedom of movement, allowing the viewer to interpret the work freely based on their own life story and allowing the inner child in each of us to express itself spontaneously. I use a chopper, katana or scraper to paint, creating unique lines, just like the beings that we are.  In this way, I express my understanding of the world and convey the message that life is just a cycle and that no matter how dark the times may be, there is light at the end of the tunnel for those who know how to adapt and surpass themselves. The multicultural influences represent the universe in which I grew up and which only leads me to conclude that, no matter where we are born, within us lie the traces of the world and the beauty that resides there.
