Jean-Marie Liot

Jean-Marie Liot has been a nautical photographer for 20 years. His work includes race coverage, sponsor photography, and catalog shots for new boats from major shipyards, taking him all over the world. Liot photographs both cruising and racing. He has collaborated with Voile Magazine since issue number 3, and now with Voiles & Voiliers. For many years, he has covered major races (the Vendée Globe and the Transat Jacques Vabre as the official photographer, and currently collaborates with the Alea photo agency). He has also been the official photographer for the Tour de France à la Voile (Tour de France Sailing Race) since 1996, and for numerous offshore racing specialists. He also takes advertising photos for the Jeanneau and Dufour shipyards.

Jean-Marie Liot now dedicates part of his time to food photography. A book created in 2010 in collaboration with a chef from the Sologne region was the first step. From meetings to tastings, Jean-Marie Liot photographs chefs and restaurants, recipes, and packaging in the studio.

Jean-Marie lives in Vannes with his large family.
