Chantal Rouxel

Artistic creation is part of my life… After attending the Brest School of Fine Arts in the early 1980s, followed by a year of academic training, I worked as a textile designer. I have lived in Paris, Tahiti, Montluçon, Lyon, and now Quimper. From 2012 onwards, I exhibited regularly for about ten years in the painting salons of western Lyon and Lyon.

Today, I dedicate myself entirely to my art and share my work through solo exhibitions. I paint in acrylics in all formats: large, medium, small, and miniatures...
My painting is figurative and symbolic: I speak of the passage of time. It is a journey into the imagination; the landscape becomes a mirror of the soul. From introversion to extroversion, towards vast horizons where dreams are hidden.
I gaze upon the beauty of the world, seeking harmony and freedom. This journey connects me to space and time: past, present, and future. I am a grain of sand in the infinite, yet connected to the "great whole."
