Catherine Bonnet-Litzler

For me, painting is a second life; it has allowed me, from the age of 40, to find a new lease of life by devoting myself full-time to this long-buried passion. 
For the past 20 years, the highly demanding craft of oil painting has taught me to look, to pause and reflect on things, and simply to see them. I never stray far from reality, which I seek to capture through my emotions, striving to retain only the essential elements, such as a cloudy sky or a horizon line.

The journey is infinitely long, but the work is a source of equally infinite joy.
