Mathilde Abraham questioned the rocks of the côte sauvage of Belle Ile by "borrowing" their shapes on tissue papers

Biography

Mathilde Abraham interrogates the rocks of the wild coast of Belle Ile by "borrowing" their shapes onto silk papers" which she places and then removes after the wave passes.
The imprint of the ink makes appear clean shapes which are like cosmological traces, fragments of rock, spiritual abstractions that descend from the life of the cliffs born 35 million years ago. From this mystical work arise pantheistic works that transcend nature in timeless force.
