Momies

Presentation

Momies took his first steps on the graffiti scene in Montpellier in 1993 under the pseudonym of Pyre, he was part of the first wave of graffiti artists in Montpellier. Beginning with a traditional graffiti it is during the years that it develops a more graphic side in its work, adapting perfectly to the style of POW (Fode, Pang, Vania, Mire, ...), of which it integrates the crew in 1998. A discreet he distinguishes himself with a unique style of his kind, with industrial lines, all in roundness that will be nicknamed "modules".

These modules, developed during its inter-rail sessions in the company of Vania (because these require few paint bombs and little time to their realizations), are the trademark of Momies. His numerous trips abroad (R.U., NewYork, Belgium, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Portugal) enabled him to acquire and affirm this inimitable style. MOMIES is undeniably a major player in the south of France, and has been able to impose his label through his achievements by participating in numerous artistic projects in Montpellier (decoration of gymnasiums, cultural centers, etc.) and he is regularly invited to cultural festivals (BOTY, Meeting Of Style, ...).
