Biography

After training at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse (textile section) and then at Panthéon Sorbonne University in 1983, I focused on the textile field.

I began by creating woven installations, followed by large flexible canvases filled with collages and materials that bridged the gap between textile and painting.

This led to extensive work on the traces of time, memory, and calligraphic signs (between 1999 and 2015), with numerous solo exhibitions in galleries, cultural venues, and art fairs.

Subsequently, my passion for old maps allowed me to create new works centered around imaginary maps to evoke the memory of vanished territories, fissures, and unknown lands.

Currently, my research is oriented towards an interaction between my works and elements of nature such as trees, forests, and roots. I seek to reveal their fragility and the dangers that threaten them. I aim for a poetic dialogue in close relation with the world.
