Mehdi Cibille Le MoDuLe De ZeeR

ZeeR was born in 1976. Street Artist, Zeer is revealed in the French sphere of graffiti through his Module, LeMoDuLeDeZeeR.

His "Start Game Over" series, playing at establishing a game of giant crabs on the map of the Parisian districts, established the artist in the Parisian urban visual field. ZeeR, practices on paper and small tags with friends, naturally his desire for space and adventure leads him to invest the territories of graffiti that are the vacant lots and disused factories of the Hauts-de-Seine, where industrial remains will mark and profoundly influence the work of ZeeR. In the early 2000s, ZeeR perfected his “module”, a graphic material based on the composition of a single character, a falsely repetitive motif from which everything would be possible. We find this module in the crosses and circles of ZeeR which playfully invade the city in a giant, absurd and poetic crab. At the turn of the millennium, ZeeR is looking for a path, a style, ZeeR is tracking down an elementary brick from which everything would be possible, a graphic material based on the composition of a simple character: this is the discovery of the module. Incorporated, the meaning of ZeeR becomes Experimental Zone of Relative Expression, a mental space where this matter evolves, the starting point before its evolution.

ZeeR sculpts, draws, paints and installs this module where potential awaits to be animated. The game: to make it proliferate until it becomes autonomous, that it inhabits the void, grows in the middle, exists between two poles.
