Biography

Seize Happywallmaker, whose real name is Raphaël Aline, is a French contemporary artist born in 1971 in Paris. He grew up in Sarcelles, in the Parisian region, where he discovered the hip-hop culture and graffiti in the early 1980s. This early immersion in urban art marked his artistic journey and led him to develop a unique plastic language, based on geometry, color, and symbolism. A self-taught artist, he gradually established himself in the street art scene before extending his practice to canvas painting, creating an immediately recognizable universe where networks of lines and colored shapes become the constitutive elements of his visual identity.

His work is based on a deep reflection on the networks, connections, and systems that link human beings, nature, and the universe. By using a graphic vocabulary composed of lines, circles, squares, triangles, polygons, and curves, Seize Happywallmaker constructs compositions where the rigor of geometry dialogues with a palette of bright and luminous colors. For the artist, these shapes constitute a true symbolic language capable of expressing notions such as purity, spirituality, contemplation, creativity, lucidity, dynamism, or even joy. This search for balance between structure and emotion makes his work an original synthesis between geometric abstraction, urban art, and chromotherapy, with color being conceived as a vector of positive energy and well-being.

Realized mainly in acrylic on canvas as well as in the form of monumental frescoes, his works demonstrate great graphic precision. The motifs unfold like organic cartographies or circuits in constant expansion, inviting the viewer to move visually within dense yet perfectly balanced compositions. His universe, nourished by the experience of graffiti, goes beyond simple urban aesthetics to offer a reflection on the interactions between individuals, information flows, and the invisible forces that structure the contemporary world. His nickname "Happywallmaker", attributed by Dutch artists, reflects this desire to transform walls into spaces carrying optimism and positive energy.

For several years, Seize Happywallmaker has exhibited his work in galleries and at events dedicated to contemporary art and street art. Through a coherent approach that combines color abstraction, geometry, street art, symbolism, contemporary painting, urban art, and color energy, Seize Happywallmaker has established himself as a singular figure in the French art scene, developing a plastic language where the simplicity of elementary forms reveals all the richness of the connections between man, nature, and the universe.
