Pola 4.0 is a French artist, her pseudonym is a nod to the famous Polaroid format that a majority of her works display.
Originally from the world of fashion, whose undeniable inspiration can be found throughout his work, Pola 4.0 is slowly moving towards the world of art.
Her artistic approach is like the visualization of what she calls her "emotional labyrinth" and her eclectic subjects, which sometimes even completely oppose each other, actually reflect her insatiable questioning about existence.
She is a committed artist who campaigns for the emancipation of women from the sometimes oppressive “norms" imposed by socio-cultural dictates and years of patriarchy.
Through her works, she celebrates femininity highlighting the strength, resilience and beauty of women around the world.
Far from the “glossy woman object", these feminine “icons" are true modern-day Amazons.
She strives to challenge the viewer, seeks their gaze, arouses their own questions, but always in a subtle way, without ever seeking to give a lesson.
Eager to understand the world around her but also the individual human being, she pursues her quest relentlessly, with only her own emotions as a filter.
