Renowned sculptor and artist from Tours, known for his unique sculptures, furniture designs, and handcrafted fountain pens.

Biography

World-renowned artist based in Tours, Michel Audiard was born is paris in 1951. Fresh out of "les beaux-arts" (school of fine arts), he starts painting portraits in Montparnasse, and sculpts various materials.

In 1978, Michel Audiard stops painting to devote himself to sculpting. The lost-wax casting technique is to him the nicest approach to making a sculpture, as every sculptor's dream is to finalize his work in bronze. He goes on sculpting, designing furniture as well as jewelry, and in 1995, he releases his first hand crafted fountain pen "stylo sculpture".

In 2005, he creates his first "passage", a figurative cut-out see-through metal plate, highlighting the invisible "the transparency of the statuary". This is how, over the years, following his fertile imagination, MA has successfully designed unique artwork pieces, as well as pieces in limited editions that have been shipped worldwide.
