

Born in 1977, Lucile Callegari is a French painter. She lives and works between Paris and Bordeaux.
Lucile Callegari grew up in an artistic environment, her father used to paint as a hobby and her mother had a passion for history and foreign cultures. She discovered art with them and traveled extensively. She studied history of art and archaeological at Université de Bordeaux III and participated in several community and artistic events.
Creation came as a reflex for Lucile when she went through emotional trauma. A self-taught artist due to her thirst for creation. She chose painting, her main theme being women, she mainly does women portraits and addresses the aesthetic and psychological aspect of her characters.
She stands out for her quick and dynamic strokes, nevertheless the content of her paintings exude sensitivity and emotions.
