Salamech

Salamech is an artist, born in 1985 in France.

The artist draws inspiration from graffiti and urban culture therefore makes use of a city's energy to pass it on to his work. He has a sharp, off the wall and nostalgic look. Through protean practice, he experiments with several unusual mediums, such as torn posters, metal curtains, advertising display panels. He mixes texts, writings, popular and contemporary iconography to transform urban material into artistic work. Bordering words and materials, colors and superposition, Salamech's work is like poetry on a town but displayed on canvas.
