Sébastien Castillo

Born in 1970 in Orléans (France), Sébastien Castillo discovers photography in his father's laboratory. The family moves several times, from the mountains of the Massif Central to the Alps, the landscape is always changing and Castillo's passion for photography grows.

Today Sébastien Castillo lives in Le Vercors, a place where all directions are visible and possible, which makes one want to stay as much as go. Sébastien Castillo challenges his practice and develops its visual poetry.

A multi-faceted artist, inspired by painting, music and photography, every medium reflect the others. We always find in his work large, open spaces, in which man is not forgotten or a ghost, but is placed at the center of the photographic approach. He shows man in his environment.

His art is not determined or static. On the contrary, it is in continuous development.
