Jean-Pierre Brissart

Jean-Pierre Brissart, who currently lives in La Roche de Glun in Drôme, began his self-taught artistic journey through photography. Fascinated by the traces of time and the rare lights of nature, he exhibited in various cities of France: Tain, Tournon, Montélimar, Limoges, Gluiras (in Ardèche), Charmes sur Rhône, Grenoble, Arles (Photoservice Foundation Prize ), Paris. In 2012, while continuing to practice photography, he learned about painting, inspired in particular by his series of abstract photos. Working mainly in oils, his current favorite themes are brownfields and abandoned houses, abstraction, portraits ...
