Biography
Born in Meulan in 1930, Daniel Couthures graduated from the School of Applied Arts of Paris. He exercised at first the profession of designer in the world of ready-to-wear and worked afterwards as an interior designer and in advertising before finally becoming a professional painter in the 70s.
He paints the places he likes to visit, such as Holland, Belgium and Greece. He especially loves Tuscany, Brittany and Provence.
