Mosko

Mosko was born from the alliance of two artists, who were childhood friends and have used their stencils to put the animals of the Savanna on the walls of Paris for more than twenty years. Michel Allemand and Gérard Laux are originally from the "eighteenth district" (18 arrondissement, Paris), which was under renovation during a long time and was finally finished in 1990. It is from this neighborhood that they took the pseudonym, Mosko.

There where the ruins are abundant, Mosko tries to instill joy, happiness and life with their artwork. Just like their native neighborhood, the dilapidated walls, the construction sites and the abandoned spaces of the urban world are the favorite supports of these two artists.

To reach beauty where ugliness prevails, that is perhaps the ultimate purpose of Mosko.

Michel Allemand and Gérard Laux often work with other artists, such as Nemo, Hondo and Jérôme Mesnager in order to transform the dark streets of Paris in a multicolored Savanna.
