Biography
Richard Unglik is a French photographer and artist born in 1972. A graduate in photography and film studies in Paris, he developed a unique passion for recreating historical and cultural masterpieces using Playmobil figurines.
Since 2000, Unglik has meticulously crafted scenes where these plastic characters replicate famous paintings, album covers, movie posters, and biblical scenes. His work blends humor, poetry, and nostalgia, offering a playful perspective on cultural icons.
His creations have been exhibited in several countries, including France, England, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States. In addition to his exhibitions, Unglik is the author of books such as Playmobil: La grande aventure and Le tour du monde Playmobil, where he continues to share his distinctive artistic vision.
