Born in 1977, Yann Merran is a self-taught street artist.
Yann Merran addresses the subject of life, provocation and the forbidden. An artist of reality, he is a witness of our society and our lifestyles. He creates fixed images that tell us a story with a deep sense which the spectator can interpret and make his own.
Yann Merran travels around the world in order to create his pieces. For that, he studies different light effects and searches for unusual places in order to enhance his creations.
Nowadays, Yann Merran no longer limits his practice to street art, he practices as well digital editing and conventional photography.
