“ Period photographs represent our heritage and our history, yet too few people are aware of these photos; I found it interesting to compare periods that almost everything opposes.

By incorporating contemporary elements into these photos steeped in history, I try to deal with subjects that are close to my heart but even more important, to highlight these themes which represent our great challenges for the future: overconsumption and waste, waste management, people in precarious situations and exclusion or even the misuse of new technologies… mainly among young children.

Through these photo-montages, I want to send a prevention message.

I wanted to revisit old photographs of different cities in which I had the opportunity to go. My approach consists initially in carrying out research work in iconographic collections: museums, town halls, archives or even the Internet.

There follows, a work of reflection, more or less long concerning the various possible forms of the future work: "what could I incorporate on this stereotype in order to put forward current subjects?" Then, shots are taken outdoors, generally and as far as possible in the same place where the pictures were taken at the time. Finally, the final production is carried out on a computer before printing . "
