Pierre Gustave Adrien Ekman 1904 - 1993 French painter, decorator and writer. He is best known for his graphic work with inspirational motifs sometimes close to the fantastic. He illustrated many works from 1950 to 1980. But he also made theatrical sets and collaborates with great cabinet makers such as: Paul Follot, Jules Leleu, Louis Majorelle, Dominique, Marolles, Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, Charles Catteau , Louis Süe and André Mare, DAUM Nancy, Léon Jallot, Emile Mousseux, Louis Süe, Adalbert Szabo and Maurice Dufrène. We know of 2 lacquer panels signs Dunand and Ekman.
