Ysabel Laffitte

Self-taught and passionate about drawing since her youngest childhood, but also by everyone in the artistic world.

She will then take some private drawing lessons, but also painting lessons and will carry out internships in order to broaden her knowledge and improve her techniques.

Her first exhibition and obtaining a diploma in an amateur competition, are a revelation and an encouragement to persevere in this mode of artistic expression.

From 2007, she will try various techniques such as: charcoal, ink, gouache, watercolor, acrylic and oil.

But it is from 2017, that she will move towards painting with a knife, because she is particularly fond of the rendering of the material, its fluidity, its lightness and its mixture of colors.
