Aline Jansen

In 1975 Aline Jansen began her first solo exhibitions in the north of France. She develops a surrealist work over ten years where the figurative image dominates revealing a poetic and lyrical symbolism. Her taste for science then suggests her new original approaches both in its conception and its expression. She evolves towards abstraction, a lyrical abstraction with the need to compose, elaborate, scaffold and construct.

Since 2010

This evolution from painting to matter, from figuration to abstract to photo, but also from photo in painting and matter, goes through a real inclusion of the photo in matter and color. By thus associating digital, matter, painting and drawing, Aline Jansen re-actualizes her work as a whole, always trying to associate our realities with other poetic and unique imaginary worlds.

 ... "creator in search of the infinite, Aline Jansen invents improbable but significant correspondences; fragments of urban photographs, cars, roads, buildings..., unite with the other usual components of the plastic arts. Nothing predisposes to the shock of these universes if it is not the will of the artist...
