Guilhem Lucand Guizard

Born in 1995, the French painter, Guilhem Lucand Guizard lists Keith Haring, Basquiat and Shepard Fairey among others, as his influences. Guizard is a complex painter, drawing from many inspirations, not wishing to limit himself to one box or category by itself. It might be the urban landscape or countryside that provides him with inspiration. Abstract subjects or seascapes, the rendering of color— Guizard paints according to his imagination, never knowing what he is going to paint in advance. In the painter’s own words, “my paintings have a spiritual and aesthetic value. I create paintings which for me also have a decorative value and I like to bring a different note to the interior of a place.”
