Luc Villard

Between shapes, colors, matter, emotion ... For this self-taught artist, colorist at heart, painting is a search for balance, harmony. With his totally spontaneous way of creating, of letting go on the canvas, Luc Villard manages to surprise himself and lead us with him into a world conducive to dreams, to the liberation of the imagination and the senses. Thanks to his incandescent reds, his warm and lively tones, his so powerful movement, the painter creates paintings which abound, which explode, in which each of us can tell his own story.

Luc Villard mostly produces abstractions but he also has fun creating characters full of pep and humor, as with his series La Miss, both beautiful and warm!

Luc Villard is now based in Brittany but continues to exhibit at Eze Village on the French Riviera as well as at the Concept Store Gallery in La Baule.
