Biography
Émile Marie Honoré Maillard born June 2, 1846 in Amiens and died July 23, 1926 in Le Havre is a French painter.
A pupil of the Académie Julian in 1886, he is mainly known for his navies representing the coasts of Normandy, Picardy and Boulonnais. He was appointed Official Painter of the Navy in May 1891 and Academy Officer in February 1899.
