Christian Lucas

Beginning his career as a graphic designer, roughman, illustrator in an agency, Christian has been an independent artistic director since 2006.

His creative work carried out through a screen makes him want to reconnect with the material, to rediscover the sensation of drawing and painting, a more direct, organic and tactile relationship with his medium. With his professional experience, his style is essential. After a few months of gestation, he started his first paintings at the beginning of 2019. Aware that it is the discipline that allows to sharpen the know-how, he works there every day and refines his technique. He transcribes a universe of his own on his very diverse canvases. A look, ideas inspired by his passions for vintage, the passing of time, snapshots of life ... bearing on his creations an offbeat vision and sometimes imbued with a humor that characterizes him.
