Jil was born on December 21, 1994 in Amiens.
Since her earliest childhood, Jil had already made creations with pieces she found everywhere. It's no surprise that at the age of 16, Jil went to the Saint-Luc Institute in Tournai to study Art.
Traveling is a big part of his life. Europe, Africa was no longer enough for her, she decided to go alone, to Australia, to discover this unknown land. When asked to sum up this year-long trip, Jil will simply use these few words “The experience of my life".
Passionate about the world of Art and fashion, it is in these two worlds that Jil will draw most of her inspiration. His techniques used to densify the effects of form on his works come directly from his hours spent in front of fashion shows. The many art exhibitions meanwhile allowed him to know how to handle textures and the play of color.
It was at the age of 25 that Jil really realized that art was not just a passion but a way of life. Jil Joannin Art is then created, and will bring together all of his works and creations.
