Presentation
After a scientific training in Physics followed at the University of Aix-Marseille, Laurence GASIOR turned to teaching and exercised this function for several years.
Nothing suggested a reconversion in the field of Art...
A meeting with her brother-in-law, a painter, was the triggering element. Initiated by an art enthusiast, she then dared to push the doors of galleries, to frantically visit museums and exhibitions...
In parallel to her teaching career, she took courses in Art History and obtained a degree from the University of Aix Marseille.
But the desire to learn how to draw and paint soon became obvious to her.
She practices drawing in workshops of live model.
She attended many workshops, participated in many courses, to build a personal approach. Exchanges between artists during courses, visits to museums, exhibitions, consultation of books on the great masters, on painting techniques, social networks are for her a mine of information and source of inspiration.
This voice has led her to devote herself exclusively and entirely to the practice of painting.
