Olivier Duhec

France

Biography

Craftsman, graduated from the Boulle School in 1999, Olivier Duhec spent ten years perfecting his metalwork with some of the most prestigious creators, including Jean Perzel who greatly influenced his work.

Olivier Duhec not only uses the traditional techniques of the profession of bronze fitter, but by creating his own workshop, he has developed many machines allowing him to achieve a precision worthy of jewelry on pieces yet on the scale of the lighting or art furniture.

As part of his practice, his collaborations with other artists, decorators and designers have enriched his experience. Passionate about space sciences and questions related to the shapes of the animal, mineral and plant world, he then felt the need to develop his work with more personal creations.

This limited edition in polished brass or gold of 13 MINI LOG is presented exclusively at Galerie Gaïa
