Laura Joy Jourdan

Laura Joy Jourdan is a young French photographer. Originally from the south of France, she has been traveling the world since the end of her studies in 2017. The camera that never leaves her is the faithful witness of the least of her movements.For the artist, the images sometimes call for writings. 

The year 2020, by its unexpected character and the multiple upheavals that shook our lives, offered her a rare chance, that of slowing down the rhythm and developing her photographic research.

Today, adventure has become part of the fiber of his daily life, it has become a need, a necessity.

Urban exploration has given way to a more ancient fascination, the one she has had since childhood, with nature. Her steps carry her further and further into the wilderness of our world, and there again, the desire to offer us this experience, and to share the moments of grace. In this series, the photographer celebrates the daily spectacles, the permanent renewal of an omnipresent nature but also the discreet beauty.

In this first exhibition "Serenities" in duo with the Sculptor Valerie Hadida, Laura Joy mixes her nature photos with her artistic photos of the Sculptor's works. Earth, bronze and light ... an enchanted stroll.
