Fascinated by the elements: storms, thunderstorms or extreme cold, he can travel thousands of kilometers to experience particular weather conditions. Storm hunting takes him to the four corners of France and as far as the USA, in Tornado Alley, where he has already criss-crossed the Great Plains five times during the hot season.
From the freezing storm to the devastating tornado, passing through the gentleness of a moonlit storm, Basile plays on the contrasts of lights and colors of these suspended moments.
