Verena Schwarz

Verena Schwarz was born in Germany in 1962 and pursued an international career in cross-cultural education before she moved to New Mexico, USA, in the mid-nineties. For the past decades, she has focused on art making which included the design and construction of her off-grid Nautilus shaped ferro e cemento home and studio in a remote part of Southern Colorado, USA. She has a MA degree from the University of Munich, Germany, and BA and BFA degrees from the University of New Mexico, USA. She has made and shown art work in New Mexico, Colorado, Germany, and Italy.
