Biography

Vikram Kushwah is an Indian photographer who lives and works in London.

Vikram’s photos reflect childhood dreams and fantasies, contrary to current modernity and society. He shows us a simpler life, a struggle against the modern world. His images are filled with poignant symbols not to mention, a surrealist and magical staging, in order to portray the strength of romanticism and innocence.

In addition to being inspired by his childhood memories and his notions of romanticism, Vikram has several artistic influences, especially childhood classics such as Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan or even works of Sigmund Freud, Guy Bourdin the photographer and surrealist, romantic Pre-Raphaelite artistic movement.

Some of his works are published by international fashion magazines like Vogue Italia. His "Ofelia" series aroused a lot of interest in several contemporary art galleries and fairs.
