Andrea Ravo Mattoni

Born into a family of artists, Andrea Ravo Mattoni was born in Varese. He became familiar with the artistic world very early on and in the 2000s joined the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera. In 1995, he made graffiti which he signed under the pseudonym Ravo. With his growing interest in classical art, Mattoni seeks to combine classical and contemporary art.

It was in 2016 that this ambitious project came to life. Masterpieces are sprayed on the walls to make art accessible to everyone. Thus, after several centuries, the works of Caravaggio, Vinci come back to life in the urban space.
