Biography

Maria Ginzburg is a contemporary artist whose practice engages with critical and political reflections on production systems, landscape transformation, and contemporary social dynamics. Her work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions in Italy, where she explores how economic and ideological structures shape modern society and impact both environments and human experience.

Her exhibition Anatomia di un collasso (2025, AOCF58 Galleria Bruno Lisi, Rome) highlights a conceptual approach focused on systemic collapse, ecological fragility, and the tension between growth narratives and environmental degradation . Her work belongs to the field of politically engaged contemporary art, addressing themes such as industrial overproduction, ecological crisis, and social dehumanization.

Working through conceptual and critical approaches, she employs contemporary visual languages and installation-based practices to question dominant economic paradigms. Her artistic language aligns with European contemporary practices exploring the intersections of ecological thought, capitalist critique, and systemic analysis.
