Giuseppe Madonia

Madonia is first and foremost the spirit of a design rooted in Savinio's Italy. The space of puzzles and plastic rebuses, whose bewitching load seduces and questions.

Giuseppe Madonia was born in 1958 in Palermo, where he lived until his teenage years.

At seventeen, after leaving his family, he created a theater group with friends and began to paint very large pictures, the themes of which he would take up again, said years later, in small-format pastels in Berlin.

In 1984, he moved to a workshop in Wedding, near the wall; learn German and become part of Berlin artistic life
