Chiara Bettazzi

Biography

Chiara Bettazzi is an italian artist working about actualities themes such as the nature and the possibilities of nature, the consumerity society, the memories of the objects. She assembles vegetables and objects together for creating a composition, than she take a picture of that to stop that composition in a moment of the day. The photos are printed and mounted in a way that make us remember the italian tradition of still life paintings.

Her great installations and pictures has been exposed in big centers for contemporary art like GNAM in Rome (Galleria Nazionale di Arte Moderna) where are showed the history of the italian modern art, and La Farnesina (Italian foreign ministry).
