Biography

Bruno Bruni (Gradara, 1935) is an Italian artist, engraver, painter and sculptor. He is one of the most famous contemporary Italian artists in Germany. 

Between 1953 and 1958 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Pesaro; after several exhibitions in Italy, Bruno Bruni moved to London where he was inspired by Pop Art. 

In 1960, after an exhibition at the Whibley Gallery in London, he moved to Hamburg where he studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste . 

In 1977, he won the Senefelder International Prize for Lithography. At the moment, he lives between Hamburg and Udine.
