Biography
Sniege is a Lithuanian artist who has lived in France for several years. After graduating from the Académie des Beaux-Arts, she moved to Bordeaux where she attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts for 4 years. A master glassmaker by training, her passion for textiles, fashion, jewellery and costumes led her to discover another discipline: painting.
Sniege creates in paint female characters from her imagination. Influenced by the world of fashion, she paints slender women, with slim figures and disarming elegance. In the image of the artist, these women are free and independent.
Sniege paints with acrylic, using colour in a reflective way, carefully studying its juxtaposition. Her works are carefully thought of and structured, offering viewers stunning effects of light and pigments.
