
Biography
The masterpieces of Carlos Vivar reflect a strange combination of passion and sweetness, fiction and symbolism on the sand and mixed colors in different textures he uses in his canvases.
His pieces are captivating, his creations are mature with a special touch. He is one of the great Mexican painters of contemporary art, a sculptor and self-taught artist.
He graduated in Graphic Design from the Anahuac University, in Mexico City and from 1985 to 1987 he lived in Europe, where he studied a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
He has participated in more than 50 collective exhibitions and 100 individual exhibitions in galleries, museums and cultural centers in Mexico, the United States, Switzerland, Sweden, China, Italy, England, Brussels, Luxembourg, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, and Costa Rica.
In 2013 he presented his first book entitled Carlos Vivar, the Mexican painter, in New York.
