Anna Pavlova

I am Anna, living 17 years in Netherlands, my inspiation brought me to Amsterdam one day, was first european country i visited from Moscow, where i lived. I disscovered how interesting to paint here, a lot of water , many reflection and movement, than sea, dunes, flowers and old art history, beautiful museums and a lot of interest for art. Lately i discover more interesting places in Europe, always travelling with painting box.
I use to paint a lot outside, on plein air, than i get feelings of atmosfphere, colours, soul of the place or subject, sometimes i search for hours to get it!
I love to paint water, feel freedom in it, different seasons of the year, amazing how light changing every thing around.

Education:

I did my art study in Moscow, first art school than art academia, it was very classical education. that i started to play with colours, it is magic for me and search what i would like to say with my painting, it is most important part of art, not just visual subject.
I like to use pallet knife for expression and paint with volume

Awards & Distinctions:

I was winnair in Noordwijk plein air festival as young talent. Ladt year was nominated for main prize.

Artistic Influences:

I was growing up in art family , it gives me a big influence and taste of art and music, besides some artists like Maurice Utrillo, Breitner, Paul Sezanne, Raul Dufi, Vrubel, Korovin, Van Gogh , Hockney , difficult to stop, so many great Artists helping me to develop.
