Bikkel Artist

Bikkel Artist was born in 1948 at Curacao, Willemstad, Caribbean, she lives and works in The Netherlands. Mostly Bikkel spray paint over a fishnet at her paintings and she processes metal chicken wire in her glass art, blowing and fusing. This texture of a barrier is metaphor for her homesickness to her native island Curaçao. Bikkel is graduated from University of Professional Education Rotterdam, Willem de Kooning Academy. Bikkel's glass art and paintings are get into famous Museum and Private Collections such as The Curaçao Museum in Caribbean , Museum Maassluis and Caldic Collection  in The Netherlands
