Biography

Rietje Geurts is a sculptor from Netherlands. She also teaches visual arts in Kreato, Thorn.

Rietje Geurts draws inspiration from the human anatomy for her artistic creations. In bronze, ceramic and wax, she sculpts human bodies, often feminine with outlines and elegant gestures. Beauty of the skin is highlighted. Slender figures, tense muscles, sensual bodies...Rietje Geurts's sculptures are an ode to life and freedom.

Rietje Geurts regularly exhibits at the Bärwaldt Gallery in Maastricht. She carried out an exhibition in Belgium with Corneille.
