Lidia Wiencek is a Polish painter, born in 1974. She studied Fine Arts in Krakow then Warsaw.
She evolved in a figurative and spontaneous universe. "The feminine representations on my canvas are a subjective portrayal of images which have made an impact on my life, at a given time. I have several ideas in my mind for paintings but paradoxically speaking, I like to paint in a spontaneous manner. When I begin painting, I don't know how the end result is going to be. I paint several groups of silhouettes, one after the other, I try to provide structure. This is when I begin choosing, looking for color and form".
Her creations received an award during a contest of posters in Krakow.
