Zin Helena Song

Born in 1983 in Seoul, Zin Helena Song is a Korean multidisciplinary artist. She lives and works between New York and Seoul.

Zin Helena Song studied plastic arts and design at the University of Long Island, in the United States and at the KookMin University in Seoul. The artist creates pieces with the help of light filters, creating shapes
that complete a painted geometric composition. In a refined minimalist style, she uses temperate colors. Her work resembles origami, the art of folded paper of Japanese origins.

Zin Helena Song questions the limits of human perception and challenges our vision with her creations. Besides her paintings, she makes photographs and installations as well.
